Mayport Naval Station, the last homeport of the USS Perry DD844 is also home to the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy and the largest fleet on the East Coast. Nearby the fleet is the Mayport Lighthouse, a historic pre-Civil War lighthouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
